Silver Award: Feral Cat Shelter and Feeding Project
Feral Cat Shelter and Feeding Project: First,we met with Margaret Martin and saw the living conditions and feeding stations at a cat colony near us. We cleaned up the area, removing branches and bushes in the way, and made the cat living areas a little cleaner for them. We also learned the importance of spaying and neutering cats and some key information from Margaret needed for our project and the general keeping of cats.
